Greetings from Mongu! We are proud to report to you on our very first donation to the community, which we gave very recently to Kids Alive Zambia and to a missions team evangelizing in a remote area near Mongu. We believe that empowering youth and those who spread the gospel is an essential part of achieving our goal of community transformation, and hope to continue making such donations in the future.
In the morning, we went to Kids Alive Zambia, which is a ministry that takes care of children whose parents
are dead, unable to support them, or abusive. At the moment, there are fifty children between the ages of 0 and 18 in the program; the children are provided with food, shelter, and a Christian education. After a message and worship session, we donated cooking oil, snacks, laundry soap, bathing soap, Colgate packets, toilet tissues, salt, and breakfast meal the the Kids Alive Ministry. We hope that this donation will provide for the children's material needs in addition to showing them that they are loved creations of God.

The second donation was to the mission’s team that ministers to the people in Nangula, which is a place about 50km away from Mongu. Most people in Nangula have not been reached with the gospel, and many in the area practice witchcraft. We pray that, as a community, Nangula is reached by the good news and that transformation takes place in this area. Our donation was K500 (100USD), and was to the seven evangelists doing God's work in the area. We also discussed how to undertake this work of sharing the gospel, our commitment to community transformation, and empowering the materially poor to extend the kingdom of God.
We hope to persist in our work to alleviate poverty and spread the gospel in the greater Mongu area and pray that God will continue to provide us with the resources to give more donations in the future.
